How Can I Start Adding Questions & Answers to my site?
Our Christian Education hour runs fromĀ 9:30-10:15 am each Sunday morning, with Sunday School for children of all ages and Adult Discipleship classes for adults. We believe that these classes areĀ essential to helping our members grow spiritually, and we therefore encourage everyone to participate.
For Adults:
We typically offer one or two options for adult classes.Ā This Spring quarter (April ā June), weĀ will have one class called: Elijah and Elisha: Faith in the Face of Apostasy.Ā We will study the lives of two prophets, Elijah and Elisha (as recorded in the Biblical books of 1&2 Kings and 1&2 Chronicles), using a book titledĀ Faith in the Face of Apostasy by Raymond Dillard. Dillard will help us with the cultural setting of these stories, but most importantly, he will show us how these two men are part of Godās plan to redeem his people.
For Little Ones:
This program begins with allĀ children in theĀ fellowship hall for opening exercises.Ā During this time the children sing BibleĀ songs, practice for presentations to theĀ congregation and learn about missionsĀ through the Compassion InternationalĀ child they sponsor. At approximately 9:45 AM the children move to theirĀ classrooms for age appropriate lessons taught by trained volunteers from among theĀ church members. The curriculum usedĀ is from Great Commission PublicationsĀ which presents the story of the gospelĀ as presented throughout the entireĀ Bible.
